So I thought I would share a few videos that I did recently with vintage lenses. Pretty much used the Rokkor MD 28mm 2.8 and this off brand lens that's falling apart, I think it's "rokunar" but not sure, since the brand name is so faded I almost can't tell. The last video uses the mysteron patch and the first 2 use flow motion v2.02, which I'm using currently.
Now, I've used both vintage and modern lenses like pretty much everyone on here, but I have to say that I'm just in love with the aesthetic that the GH2 sensor / vintage lens combination produces. Adapting the same vintage lenses to canon and nikon DSLR's, seems to not change the look of the image to the degree that it does on the GH2. Maybe the hack / patches have something to do with picking up the characteristics of the glass a bit better. Between the constant updates in patches and the almost endless lens selection... we have it pretty good I think : )
