I liked the satan too, but you might want to make the gloves he was wearing not so obvious.

Very entertaining. I laughed the entire time. Hope it was your intention to make me laugh.

Dittos on the tupperware throwing. Classic.

Thanks I Wonder What Lighting I Should Have Used You Know To Make It Better?

I reccomend getting three high powered lights. Stricken was shot with three 1000 watt lights and a few other Home Depot scoop light (bulb with metal bell around it) Use only those lights to light the scene. make sure they are set up to throw the light from the way it really would be thrown in the room and leave room for shadows. Overlight the room and then bring it down in post. :) You did a pretty good job with the Satan at the end!

The end is great but my favorite is the tupperware throwing scene and where the girl says "ouch" as one of them hits her! Good job Movie Master! Keep making stuff!

MM, you're not listening. Please pay careful attention: your moviemaking skills (as far as gear and technique) are not what people are asking for. They're asking for more of your unique flavor to the film. More fun. More MOVIE MASTER.

Don't worry about better lighting or a mini35 or anything like that. Look at "Jackass 2" -- the number one movie in America at the box office, yet there's probably no cinematography skills on display at all.

Don't worry about your gear right now. Just focus your energies on making more fun.

got barry , I just want to release a full version i will re-shoot and make 90 min movie but i dont want people saying it was half assed.
thats why i am asking all these questions the fun is their baby i just want to get a little technical 666

my friendly advice....you need to work a lot with short film before you go do a feature!
make a 6min gem and you can feel proud
spend time and time and money to make something 90' and i tell you that you ll never finish it...its not that easy to make a 90 min movie with no experience in short films or basic knowledge of lights, camera, actors, editing, sound...
and first of all, you need a 90' script!

work your way with short films for the time being :)

HELLS BELLS I HAVE BEEN WATCHING ALL NIGHT I SEE ALOT
MOVIES GOT THE WRONG IDEA THEY NEEDED TO MAKE A HORROR FILM
NOT A WHORER! 666 LOL

BOLD CAPITAL DEATH SPEAK can probably stop now :zombie_smiley:

This film is much much much better than what I anticipated after all the hype (self inflicted hype). It is basic and the sign of baby steps in a filmmaker, but I believe we might just have a filmmaker here. You have some nice things going on and I was especially impressed by the actual scariness ..

I believe if filmmaking is your interest, then you should start studying and keep shooting. Not bad at all and a fun film.

These two shots were wonderful. They had me.

Review | POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT! I watch the movies first time around strictly for enjoyment, second and third for review.

Short version of a review. John pointed out two shots that were pretty neat. I agree with him.

Keep on working at it dude. You kick my ass just by entering something!

Your sound peaked at strange moments. Hurt mine ears. Kudos to the kid actors, they had to take Tupperware and it must've hurt!
