The future of cameras?

While that thing is certainly a POS, I don't really see the point -- even if it was implemented on a higher quality camera. That looks like something found at a garage sale. In 1985.
 
Yeah I know this particular thing is a POS.. lol.. but the idea is the massive time save from not having to re-render multiple versions.. Kinda of how youtube is a mess right now where they have 3 resolutions going. HD looks the best, but you are screwing your viral chance if you upload HD because for some reason the standard version that most people will actually play looks like sh!t, and not many people can handle the HD version - youtube eats up the computer where vimeo will play on lder P4s and whatnot. So the best resolution for youtube right now is the 'middle of the road' 640 x 360 high quality version, but you lose this version when you upload in true hd.
