I think this is a POST production fix, I read and article about another company doing the same thing (searching for the link and will post it once found). The software calculated the angle of skew and corrected the rows of pixels but this has its own problems...

It shifts the picture slanting in the opposite direction, you don't have skewed pictures anymore, but now you have a skewed clip instead.... The trapezoid shaped video clip will have to be zoomed in on to eliminate is odd shape. Its a nice step forward, and it looked well done. I must note this info is from a difference source so maybe these guys have a different way of doing it.
