Forgive me if this has been gone over a million times...
I just upgraded to an Intel Mac and I can now import with Log & Transfer instead of Voltaic. I do not understand the 'extra' steps in sending the file(s) to compressor? I was able to log & transfer on FCP, and to me the files look exactly the same as when sent to compressor... Any help is appreciated.
 
If you're shooting 1080/24p on the GH1 without the 24pn hack then you need to remove the pulldown using compressor.
 
When I did the 'log & transfer' process it was 23.98, and I did the hack also earlier in the day. So, I guess I don't have to go the extra step to compressor?
 
I think this is a really inappropriate title for your content. I was expecting something jedish. Very dissapointed
