Art History is screening at the Whistler Film Festival on Saturday December 4th at 3pm.

What's perhaps of more interest to the members of this forum is the projection format - which is HD MPEG2 - they are uprezzing (at least in our case) from uncompressed 720x480 anamorphic quicktime to 1280x720 MPEG2 (very high bitrate - I think 50 megabits but will confirm)

Then projecting off of some proprietary PC. Will report on it later but company doing it is www.digiscreen.ca

we just finished a very short film concept/camera test that's called "Fists of Dawn" - it's the last link on the page at www.purposelabs.com.

but we will be doing some more dvx stuff soon...

I just watched the teaser and the intro shots with that shotgun rig are kick ass.  If i hadn't seen the picture of the rig I think I might have broke my brain trying to figure out what you did ;)

I checked out some of the tests on purposelabs.com -- how do you shoot 240 fps?

PS - The actors in AH are basketball scrubs.

Screening is tomorrow - will report after it - we are busily putting up the posters and some stickers all over the resort now....(oops)

Thanks for the compliments on the shotgun rig - yes only me and my two buddies were players so we basically kept the actors running a simple play one after another until they got it...one of the actors (And he shall remain nameless - but his name is Martin) couldn't really play at all...oh well

The film looked a little dark on the projection system it was played back on...but all in all a good reception and some good contacts were made...

sorry man - not sure what happened there ?? I dunno if anyone else had problems - I just tried it now and it goes through ok...

When you say nothing is loading do you mean you DON't get the paypal page asking you to login and enter your details with the order form for art history above it ??

when you say you "got yours" - do you mean you received it or ordered it...

If the christmas rush is over midwest US should take 4 days...

I don't see a Danny Boyle order name though - is that your "filmic" nickname...

Just Got My DVD Today Watched all of it including the bts and all i can say is "POP GOES THE WORLD" :)
