The Final "Pulse" Episode

Re: The Final "Pulse" Episode

LOL

Love it when your hair fell out of the towel/turban. Looked classic. Ive enjoyed these 'Behind the Scenes on Tour".

Whats next on the agenda?

Re: The Final "Pulse" Episode

I second Hudson's comments. I love how your hair falls out of the towel in one shot and is all Rock and Roll in the next. Classic.

Cute idea for how to end the tour taping's too.

Thanks guys! It was a fun one to do.

Next? Well, I have about three story line ideas for a short and there is a possibility for an art show type of doc and also an Enuff's 'N' Nuff video.

Enuff's 'N" Nuff is still jammin?

An art doc would be great. Maybe an "ROck stars Art" Doc.

Re: The Final "Pulse" Episode

Hey DVX

Where did you actually get to edit these things, when you are on tour buses the whole time?

Re: The Final "Pulse" Episode

Powerbook 17" ! I edited mostly in the hotel rooms on days off and shot in the afternoon on the show days.

Yeah, Enuff 'N' Nuff just made a record and are attempting some sort of come back & tour. I'm torn doing something like this, actually. I don't want trapped in the 80's stigma. (like I can really escape it!)
The DVX -100 is great, but the best tool in my kit is actually that I live with a painter! Helen Garber who is a fine artist/portrait painter. (www.helengarber.com). If I could film like she paints, I'd be the Fellini of the DVX! LOL!

Re: The Final "Pulse" Episode

That artist does kick ass. Wow.  Really nice work.  Theres nothing wrong in being 'trapped in that stigma'; you've accomplished the peak of your career and dream which a small fraction of us ever get to do (Im 34 and still aiming for that peak  :-/).  'P' was a fun band and insanely successful.

You should talk to Helen about LIGHT (which every artist knows).  You paint on FILM (DVX) and she paints on CANVAS.  The end goals are practically the same.

Re: The Final "Pulse" Episode

Oh, I'm not hiding in any way from the 80's thing. I'm very proud of what I have done and the fact that we tour every year and play for so many people. It's just that I want to move ahead in such a way that people aren't thinking that I can't do anything beyond things releated to it. That's all.
