FEATURE: The Final Dance Scene (Before and After)

This is a scene from my upcoming film "The Final Dance". Everything is shot by the cheapest DSLR camera Canon 550D/T2i.
I have been working with this scene for hours in AE and applying many effects and layers to create a look that could have been taken by a RED camera, which is so much more expensive than the 550D/T2i.
But I'm not dumb, of course a RED should have done it better, haha.

In other words, I was trying to get the best out of my cheap camera and lens.

Camera:
Canon 550D/T2i
60 fps
Shutterspeed: 1/500
Canon EF 50/1,8 II

Put some snow flakes in back of the girl. Otherwise it seems to really read as a superimposed effect... may require rotoscoping to get the requisite layering.

I generally agree with that, but you wouldn't have to do too much, since we've got a pretty shallow depth of field, and any snowflakes more than a couple feet from behind the subject would be out of focus, and thus imperceptible.

Looks nice, david!
