The Expendables ! I can't wait.

This seems like the kind of movie that should be awesome but is never as good as it sounds.

It is refreshing in this time of the metrosexual male, geek dork comedy and superhero fad to see a mans movie.

I hope it goes for the "Commando" approach- cheesy one liners, absurd violence and one man armies vs hordes of enemies, who die in the most gruesome, yet satisfying ways :).

Shame there's no Van Damme. He's the only missing link here. Him and probably Jacky Chan, but he's somehow a bit "off" compared to the others in the cast, in terms of the type of characters he does.

Would love to see Arnold saying badass one liners again...Hope he has more than a Cameo role in this!

EDIT- Also would like to see the "Machete" Mexican in this. That would be absolutely hilarious! In fact, imagine if this film was directed by Robert Rodriguez...

The Expendables movie. Ultimate guys movie !!!!

Man I just hope I can look as good as Stallone at that age, sly is ripped!

Comingsoon stated that Van Damme was asked to be in the film and he turned it down.

I know this is gonna be violent as hell since sly is directing. I can't wait.

Bookaroo - You might want to change "Official Trailers" to "Fan-made Trailers" in your post. The official trailer is not released yet. But it should be very soon.

We can only dream of this being in the least bit watchable. But I will hold out hope for some honest to god ass-kicking old-school 80s style.

Batutta said it pretty well. It looks like someone had a Sayonce and resurrected every single 80's action movie cliche and clutch ever conceived. At least the movie knows what it is.

LoL

Been looking very forward to this movie, however trailer looks dissapointing.

Like someone else said, a Commandoish kind of movie would kick ass.
