THE DVX BOOK question ?

Hi guys im new to this forum, and also a new owner for my dvx102ben, my question is can i purchase [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]THE DVX BOOK + DVD[/FONT] to get most from my Camera, or you friends can suggest any other Books or DVD's.

Dear friend thanks for your reply, I'm not asked anything wrong about that book, as i heared that the book covers DVX100a DVX100b, DVX100 i dont know will it covers topic about DVX102ben, because i heared that there are some difference between these cameras
 
There is only one difference between all models i.e. DVX100, DVX100A and DVX100B. The difference is PAL and NTSC. I suppose you've got a PAL version like me. It's perfectly normal and "The DVX Book" addresses PAL also. Otherwise the rest is the same. No difference what-so-ever (Infact there is one more difference i.e. 25P/50i in PAL and 24pa/25P/30P/60i in NTSC).

Both books cover two totally different generations of Camcorders, hence a drastically varying set of functionality and workflow.

So, "The DVX Book" is for DVX100 series and "The HVX Book" is for the HVX200 series camcorders.
 
If you are brand new to the DVX and are looking for some basic setings to get started, try looking for a post by Andy Starbuck. It was very helpful, then Barry Green's book takes you from there.
