im going snowboarding today and i'm bringin my dvx100b to the mountain to film a friend whose gonna throw some sick **** for an edit.

is it safe? and what precautions should i do?

thank you.

if its windy you wanna bring something to keep the lens covered because I always have that problem, and try not to take it inside and out rapidly, the lens will fog pretty badly internally, if you are going inside make sure you take it out of your bag and do the same when you get back outside. moisture in your bag can cause some serious fogging.

i wrap my camera up in bubble wrap on all sides and stick it in my backpack. i use a UV haze filter and a linear polarizer to get blue skies and to protect the lens, and i have a microfiber cloth handy just in case stuff gets on the filters (it will happen). Just be careful with it and you'll be cool.

here's some stuff i shot:

that was my first time, i've gotten some better stuff since.

thanks guys,
i kept it in a backpack wrapped in a hoodie and it worked real well.
i'll post some footage eventually too
