The DSLR Holy GRAIL! Canon 1D MKIV

[LeavingTheCandy]

I put my order in WAY early and have it already. I've decided that I don't need it, so it's up for sale. Shutter-count is zero. Was opened to look at and returned to box. Of course, it has all the goodies that came with it.

1 Extra battery.

$5100. Prefer local sale (Mid-Atlantic region).
They seem to fetching up to $5500 on eBay.

One man's trash is another man's holy grail?

It's the best camera available for low light. If you shoot weddings or such, it's a perfect match.

Disagree
tested a new mk4 last week and was no happier with the high iso shots than my 1d3 or 5d2

but seriously
try potn or fredmiranda

It's not so much comparing the same ISO's, but rather, shoot a MKIV and MKII at in like situations and the MKIV's ISO will be much lower. Thus, less noise, etc.

This is a tough crowd! ;-)

[yokotas13]

well, im a tough crowd because its my job to have the right equipment. 1dmk4 is NOT worth the price. 2 5dmk2s, or 5dmk2, and 2 7ds are a MUCH better choice

[LeavingTheCandy]

I guess I am kinda in the same camp since I sold the MKIV and kept my 5D! ;-)

It's now SOLD. Thanks.

Congrats.

It's the low light auto focusing and a million cross hairs that make it great for weddings and such low light events.
