Hello everyone !
I've been posting a few stuff on this website in the past, I'm a French filmmaker, I just wanted to share with you my latest short film called "The Door", it's a no budget horror short about a young writer dealing with insecurities. The movie is in English and French but I added English subtitles on the French parts so everyone can understand it
Youtube didn't compress some of the night scenes very well, it added some ugly pixels that are not on the original file of the film, I spent a lot of time color grading it and making sure everything is visible, not under or overexposed and don't have any ugly pixels showing up to compensate some loss of informations, so the original file of the film (before the Youtube compression) don't have any of that. I wish I could upload that file on Vimeo, but it is 25 GB and I would have to pay something like $400 to Vimeo to be able to upload a 25 Gb file ...
The movie is 20 minutes long, I know it's very long to watch on Youtube, but if you some of you do, I would love to hear your thoughts !
Here's the link :
Thanks a lot for your time guys !
Have a nice day !
