Nice, as soon as I figure out how to completely git rid of the 'video edge,' I'm coming for your spot!!

[Thomas J. O'Hara]

really like the 2nd a lot better than the first, is it more in focus?

[jpbankesmercer]

I love the look of the second Actor. The guy looks like he's got depth man.
Is this your latest project John??

[reflex]

looks to me that the first is your attempt to be like the second grab which is from devils rejects??? right? or am i wrong? :/

[jpbankesmercer]

ahhhh.

[J.R. Hudson]

All of it is from the DEVILS REJECTS; the documentary on the disc.

[jpbankesmercer]

Don't punch me. Not seen it. I know. I know.

[Smithhouse]

pretty wild flick...

[ZombieSquid]

Your not saying that Rob's BTS guy was using a DVX are you?

[Jay Rodriguez]

John this was shot on the DVX? Sweet! That second shot looks awesome..... I wonder if it was totally stock.....

[Zach Lien]

er. the second one- i dont think its dvx? is it john?

[J.R. Hudson]

The entire BTS screams DVX100. I believe 98% of the 144 Minute Doc is DVX100

The BTS looks exactly like my own footage

[J.R. Hudson]

er. the second one- i dont think its dvx? is it john?

I believe it is

[J.R. Hudson]

More grabs

[Ill Eagle]

Ok, now I'm confused.........

[dustino]

Ok, now I'm confused.........

If it doesn't say "16mm" under it, it's DVX. The dvx holds up pretty damn well in the comparison.

[Nathan_Rodger]

VERY impressed with these caps... Very nice...

If the DVX can do this - make's me wonder how much the HVX will give 16mm a run for its money!! Lenses are the key - but all the 35mm adapters coming out all over are making that arguement less of an issue....

John I too purchased "Rejects" and the BHS is the longest most complete I've ever seen. I was a little disappointed with the movie but the BHS made the purchase worth it.(plus Strangeland was included for the same money). I noticed the dvx but I thought maybe they were actually using it for reference. I did hear Parmet say in the BHS he used a digital camera to get the images to send to the processor to confirm the look he wanted.

[Zach Lien]

i just need to say this right now since it hasnt been said in this post yet. 'Devil's Rejects' was a Bad Ass F*cking Movie.
