Sorry no 4k...ill add a few of the 4k shots later to this same video. This is just a rough cut ...not filters or color correction just clips on a time line. I think I did color correct the aerial gopro shots.

These were my settings after attempting to use the James Miller settings and a few of the hyperwhite avoidance settings.

All Shots:

CINE-D
Contrast 0
Sharpness -1
NR -1
Sat -1
Hue +1

Master PED +5

Highlight -2
Shadow +2

i.Dynamic Off
i.Resolution Off

Lum Lev 16-235

Zebras Set at 85% (avoid ANY peaking zebras at all cost) shadows will have detail in final product and highlights will be fine.

White Balance 5200KV
A:2 M:2

All shots 180 degree shutter
varying Apertures
Vari ND

Lenses 12mm 2.0, 75mm 1.8, 25mm 1.4, 7-14 f4, 35-100 2.8

Heh, i would pull that music before the music police bust you - LOL!!!

I get flagged every week for client videos I do - and for music that I license!
It is really getting annoying…..

Nice drone work. I really like the way you shot this.

Seems a little noisy in some parts. I noticed it most during the slo-mo shots of faces. I guess it's just the inherent limitation of the camera

This is the demo version of the licensed song. I don't buy license til client approves it. I put the video up unfinished just to show video capability. Didn't expect people to critique the sound track. Lol.

Noise? I cant see it. Lol its a $1600 camera not a Red. Thanks for the compliments. :)

Looks great. Nice shots. Are you editing on a Mac or a PC? The reason I ask is that I see you are using 16-235 luminance level.
I use Premiere Pro on a Mac and I find that 0-255 looks the same in terms of highlight retention as 16-235, and yet gives me about 1/3 stop more dynamic range when shooting. On the PC side, programs like Vegas seem to clip 0-255 material, but not in Premiere on the Mac. Nor in Final Cut.
If you switch to 0-255, your Zebras switch from a top setting of 100% to 105%. If you decide to switch to 0-255, I recommend re-setting your zebra to maybe 90 or 95% instead of 85%. That way you still have 10-15% of headroom but will get a beefier image with more room to grade as your exposure will be a touch brighter (without clipping).

GREAT TIME...thanks "BROTHER" Has anyone done any shooting with this profile yet???

Great test, I'm testing profiles now for a commercial shoot on Friday with the GH4. Thanks for sharing! I haven't been able to settle on one I like yet so tomorrow is going to be a day of testing.

It was good and bad, but none of the bad was related to the camera. The bad was that it was a museum exhibit with lots of young extras so really chaotic, in a large room full of overhead lights including a mix of fluorescent and tungsten, some had green and orange gels and lots of stuff going on not related to my shoot polluting the venue. I actually had a guy working on a door hinge that wouldn't stop for 10 minutes so I could get a few wide shots without some moron drilling into the wall in the background.

The good - love the look of your profile. I'm reviewing the footage I shot and it looks really good. I didn't have an external monitor because I forgot to get a micro HDMI, the 5d3 was mini HDMI (I think I have the correct names) so none of my cables work on the GH4. I didn't know there was a smaller HDMI connection than the one on the 5d3. I had to rely on the LCD for focus, which is always really nerve racking for me. But the image looks great, the room had some hot spots and some areas that were really dark and nothing looks really harsh. Thanks again for sharing, it's now C1 on my cam.

I'ill try to post some screen caps on Monday.
