funny you should say that... as a joke, they actually made a batsuit with nipples on it for The Dark Knight, and presented it to Bale. He knew it was a joke but did pose for some photos in it.... of which I haven't found. It'd be hilarious to see him in it.

Back to Batman, I agree with the Make-up of the Joker, it looks a little bit like Holloween/Jason-ish/horror-ish... but the teaser looks good.

Is it me, or did Christian Bale's voice in Batman Begins, was a bit over-the top? When he was in regular clothes his tone was normal, soon as he put on the suite, the voice changed to something almost fake-computer enhanced or something. I liked the movie, but his bat-voice took me out the film sometimes.

1) Don't know if Pyro will be in the next X-Men film (I hope though, he was kick ass)

2) The make up in these pics, seems to be pre scarring... SPOILERS////////////////
When the Joker gets scarred, the face paint should be scarred to his face, permantley...that should look better///////////

3) I think he was just talking in a lower register, so as to disguise his voice a bit from his normal voice.
 
I'd like to go on record saying The Dark Knight is the film of 2008 that I am waiting to see.

I think it's going to be great. I loved Batman Begins, and I think people need to stop stressing so much about who's vision of Batman is the true vision. Batman has become a large part of the American mythos, and has moved beyond the realm of being any single person's quote unquote vision. I like the direction Nolan and company are taking it. You don't have to, but just b/c it is a new take shouldn't be reason alone to hate on it.

Heath Ledger is an incredible actor, and so is Bale IMO. They're going to be awesome going head to head. And I think Ledger's take on the Joker will not dissappoint.

Unlike Nicholson's Joker, who I laughed along with, I believe Ledger's joker is going to have a much more sinister sense of humor. He might be laughing, but I'm not sure we'll be laughing along with him. From what I understand this is a much more psychotic, evil, homicidal maniac than Nicholson's joker. With that in mind, I think the ridiculous, scarred, new make up design is fitting.

I fully support the new Batman series.

And I agree with ZFarms on the voice. He disguises his voice when he's Batman, that's all. The lower register also adds to his mysterious, non-human aspect when in costume.

As long as Ang Lee isn't directing, I don't think we'll have to worry about it becoming BrokeBatcave, with Joker and Batman running off for a cuddle...
 
Yeah, clearly. I think one of those cuts is footage from a Dark Man movie.

But, I wonder if that shot of the Joker at the beginning is Heath. Looks a helluva lot like Heath Ledger. And if it's not, than they did a good job finding someone and doing make up close to what we've seen in other production pics.

I'm a big fan of Batman Begins. I like the new edgy feel of batman. I never liked the over the top batman of the old days. Didn't like it when was younger, still don't. Dunno, it's just me. Chocolate and Vanilla.

I keep hearing people saying "no one can top Nicholson". However, it's a gut feeling, but I doubt they'll be trying to copy Nicholson's performance. Bale wasn't a copy of any of the old Batmans. I felt his presence, especially as Bruce Wayne, to be completely different and re-vamped. It's obvious they'll do the same with Joker, especially with an actor like Heath and a Director like Nolan.

I can't wait for this. I just wish they did a different look for the joker as well, but I guess they didn't want to disappoint too many fans.

That's the trailer I saw earlier but they removed it. :(

They'll probably place an HD version online after the weekend Box Office closes. They want as many people as possible to go see the trailer at the theater, in front of I Am Legend.
