The "clunky sound"

I have only had my AF100 for two weeks, and up to this point have been thrilled.

Yesterday, however, on turning on my camera, it just came on black, but with a white border around the screen.

I think I read a thread a month or so ago, when other users had experienced this as well, but I can't find the thread. I seem to recall that they black balanced again. So, I tried this, but nothing happened. I turned the camera off, and on again, and that started it again. But it happened shortly thereafter as well. I should add that each time I heard a "clunky sound". I turned it on and off a half dozen times today, and it seems to be operating fine now, but I do hear a much more muted clunky sound coming from inside up front toward the ND filters. The temp was about 80F, and I have mounted the Lumix HD 14-140mm.

Anyone else had the same experience?

Is your lens connection solid on the camera? Maybe take the lens off, and put it on again to see if this helps things.

Make sure that the lens is mounted properly. If it was I would take it to a service center or back to your dealer for another opinion.

Best regards,

jan

Assuming that my lens is mounted properly, should I hear any sound at all comining from inside the camera?
