The City Is Mine

The film is now an official selection at the 2009 Sandiego Black Film Festival. www.sdbff.com This makes it our third fest.

I would say, I submitted the film to about 30 festivals. Got turn down by a whole lot, but made it to 3, still got some more I'm waiting to hear from. Even though the denied is alot more than the acceptances, it still feels good getting in some. I would be happy if I got in just 1, but 3 is pretty nice.

Still haven't won any Awards though, got a nomination for best actor, so winning would be so sweet...

Wow. Congrats. I like the poster. Did they have the actors come in and professionally shoot it?

Looking forward to watching it.

What'd you mean, that was a fantastic review cause you can quote this on the DVD:

"The City Is Mine is a gruesome splatter flick which is raw, realistic and riveting" - NEWSBLAZE

or even better:

"The City Is Mine... is raw, realistic and riveting" - NEWSBLAZE

Sounds like you have a decent movie though for real. I'll have to check it out.

HA HA, that's a good spin on it. I just don't like how he trash the actors, check this quote out....
However, you know a movie has serious issues when so many leading cast members are too embarrassed by their performances to allow their names to be printed in the picture's press kit.

That is totally false right there, but hey, you can't argue with a critic, I'm happy they're writing at all.
