Hey Marlon, the pics look cool. Can't wait to see some footage.

P.S. I noticed on your website that you're a fellow Pacifican!

Absolutely stunning...great work Marlon.

Somebody watching that on a DVD especially would have NO CLUE it wasn't a RED or some other expensive camera setup. Gotta love these DSLR's sometimes :P

jonE5 - cut and colored in final cut pro, the final coloring process will be done in Color. maybe i can use that track for my end credits ;)

smashedburrito - thanks, i remember you back in the day! cant forget a name like that!

The shots and footage look terrific, the effects stuff is definitely impressive.

I do think there's more work to be done on the soldier's though. They aren't selling me on the WWII era. Some of the uniforms are ill-fitting and the medical armbands stick out in my opinion like a prop rather than part of the real uniform. Perhaps the clothes are too clean too. Hair maybe too long for soldiers. Just little things that are just a little off in my mind at the moment. I know period pieces are extremely hard to pull off but figured I'd share my thoughts on it as most folks will be justifiably impressed with the rest of the images/shots etc. and may not really take too much notice of that sort of thing.

This is going to be a feature, right?

The beach footage with the young woman is excellent...the tank test footage is awesome. The poster is very cool. Just not completely "in" with the soldiers yet.

My only critique from what I've seen here.

Hey Martay, thanks for the feedback. The story takes place during the end of the war where everything is pretty chill and everyone is about to be sent home. I didn't need my soldiers looking really dirty or disheveled. Hope that helps.

Good News: Here is an actual scene from my WW2 film "The Bridge".

Bad News: This will be the last preview I give of it, sorry guys. Next time you'll see it, it will be finished and hopefully touring your local film festivals!
