Hey guys I'm back!

I've just finished a new short comedy film which was made for the www.reed.co.uk/film film competition with the theme the boss.

I'd love to know what you think. Plus I'm not acting this time :)

Add some SFX on the GPS when touching... Even if it's not in real...People expect to hear "A sound" (whatever what sound, even the sound of a goat is good) when someone puches a button.

Between: 0:48 and 0:49 there's a small "glich, pop" sound, which is I think because you didn't make a fade (very small, 10ms is enough) on the "GPS voice track" at the end of her sentence

Music can be left out

The recorded dialogue is good. Maybe on some points a little "hot", but limited ? What gear did you use ?

01:26, is this important for us to know ? If so, then... it's to short (this shot) I missed it.. I rewinded it to look it back because
later on I see the guy having a "ooh noo" face.... But in cinema/theaters they don't rewind....

It was fun to watch, not to long. But not much "going on".

Hey, thanks for the notes

I missed the pop. I did have a lot of fades on the dialogue so sorry about missing that one. Maybe you have better speakers than me.

I don't agree with the having no music. I had a locked edit without the score and felt it was lacking. I don't like silence but I think that's creative differences.

The 'Isle of Man shot is on for a good 3 seconds. I'm not sure where you're from but it's a tiny island off the coast of England with not much going on. That was the joke.

Thanks for watching and the awesome feedback.

We'll have to see what the judges think now :)

Charming short film.

Technically, there were some exposure issues (which is understandable), but I liked your framing and found it funny. Who says you can't shoot a complete short film for a 2 min running time ? The only quibble I would have is the punchline needed a rewrite to be a bit stronger - maybe add a reaction shot from him. Other than that, great job !

cheers
