No...silly...

A New Jersey backyard with birds and bees and squirrels and rabbits and flowers. Not much more than a slideshow set to music.

Just larning to use Vegas and such, especially trying to cut the images to the music. (The possible tinny sound is the compression, not in the original.)

WMV format, but there's a crappy Quicktime version up there, too. STILL haven't figured out how to get it small enough while maintaining image/sound quality, Sorensen or no.

Oh well.

The Backyard

And, yes, it IS that noisy in my Parents' backyard. Damn birds. :)

couldn't see the .wmv, but the .mov was nice. If that's crappy than we all have something to brag about our dvx's when compared to other cameras.

Man you just made me envious. I ran outta tape and now have order some more just to tape some dam birds and butterflies. :)

The MOV didn't look stuttery to you? To me it looks like a silent film run slightly too fast. Except in color. And with sound.

The images are ok, but the stutter/jerky motion bugs me.

24PA. All I did was use Scene preset F5, with the Gamma set to Cine-Like_V. (And the Master Ped at -5, if that isn't the default...I don't remember the default anymore.)

Most of the color correction was dropping the reds (and sometimes greens) a little using color curves. And occasional Unsharp Maks when I screwed up the focus. :)

yeah it was stuttery, but I could live with it. I was focussed on the the beautiful imagery. Just tell the whole world you were being artsy and it should fly :)

sync some spoken word with the stutters and you could be on stage with your clip showing in the backgound.
