The Birdcage

okay, thanks.... Usually look right pass the sticky posts..... Bad habit from another site that abused the purpose of having a sticky.... They'd sticky the most useless crap like last night's game results and stuff...

Beautiful stuff, as always. Any chance you could post bad footage, once and a while, just to make some of us feel better? Throw us a freakin' bone here!!!

:)

Disjecta, beautiful as always . . . is nothing ugly or out of place in your neighbourhood . . . even the trash looks smart ;)

THanks for all the comments, guys. gumonstro, it takes approximately 2 1/2 seconds per frame on my computer. (3.2ghz)

Disjecta-

You have a knack with creating some of the most saturated and crisp images I have ever seen from the DVX. And, the crispness of your images do NOT at all make it look like a video image. They are beautiful. It makes me even more excited because I own that camera.

Now, I have seen you mention your appreciation for the 1.6x Century Optics teleconverter. Also, you have mentioned that it almost always stays on your camera. Because of your seal of approval, that is DEFINITELY going to be my next accessory purchase! I'm sure I'm not the only one who has made purchases based on your recommendations.

If you were business savvy, you could make quite a commission...

I still can't believe you edited this in one night. Really nice work. As always your films have a certain reverentness to them. I really appreciate your continuity and style as a film maker. You are very consistant with your work, and it is always very clean and beautiful. Great job.

I'm surprised this thread got reactivated...

Thanks Stefan, I appreciate your comments and I have equal admiration for your work. I think you are very talented filmmaker. And thanks to everyone else who took the time to look.

Regarding a feature length film....once DayDoubler Pro is introduced and installed in my brain...that's when I'll be able to shoot a feature :) Until then, it's shorts.
