The Best Thing Ever

The scenery looks pretty ordinary, but after watching the trailer It'll be cool to see the final vid. Thanks for the behind the scenes. Always like seeing those. Nice work Colin.

Yeah, looks great. Looking forward to seeing the full video. The song, the band, and the video all are very reminiscent of Taking Back Sunday.

looks awesome Colin, that was downtown vancouver, west hastings? did you have any issues with locking the location? how long did you have it for?

nice work.

fwiw: footage like this is one of the main reasons i got my hvx.... what a great tool.

weather served as a nice softbox for ya. sweet.

water off the cymbol was nice image. think i like the location stuff best. be interesting to see where your vid goes & pays off.

best2ya & thx for the look

Wow. That looked like it should. Love how you suckered us with that zoom at the start then punched us in the face. Very nice.

Ian

thx, yes i cut it as well.

location is downtown vancouver... and i dont think it was very hard to get just mostly permits and property owner payments etc.

Daylight when shooting + Small internet viewing frame = Perfect

Seriously, any certain settings used?

Looks great.

i popped up my big 1200w softbox just now. lit the hell out of my room. Noiseless. relativly even lighting is the key. get teh contrast in post.

That just might be the best thing ever, Colin. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

I don't think an Edmonton band has ever looked so good.

In the behind the scenes pics, was that guy holding the MuchMusic mic part of the video or was Much giving you promo coverage?

Oh, and add some new friends to your myspace once in awhile will ya? ;)
