The best small stadicam for videocamera to travel?

Hi, I'm buying Sony AX100: In pass time I never used handycams. I'd like a suggestion: I take only adventurous documentaries around the world (often I do trek). In your opinion will a stadishot be useful for me?
If it can be useful, can you suggest a good but small stadicam?
