the best 24P shutter setting

Does anyone can help me what's the best shutter speed for shooting the DVX in 24P?:furious3: I have this music video project this weekend which I intend to shoot on 24P.

Or any advice from the experts would be of great help.:)
 
music videos nowadays tend to use real high shutter speeds in comparison to the shorts and features. Try something around 1/250 and you'll look trendy.
 
Is there a difference in "look" between 1/250 while in 24p and 1/250 while in 60i? Doesn't shutter overide the 24p feel?

It's because of the shutter speed that you have a big difference between 24p and 60i, usually, 60i is always open.

The only time you need to worry about 24p not looking like 24p is when the shutter is at 1/24 or lower.

Do they really? I would imagine you'd get some ugly strobing from such a fast shutter, but I haven't really experimented outside of the whole 1/60, 1/45.
