I was new to this community and waiting to see if it was an objective process or simply a popularity contest. We'll soon know.

Yup, just not our year. Walk off by Ordonez. If only the Big Hurt would have got that walk off in game 2. dont remind me, i just got a terrible sinking feeling all over my body and now am still typing even though i want to go and shoot myself....oh why just stop typing , omg, omg ,omg.......................... thanks theatre guy for reminding me, i was just beginning the denial phase now im back to just sad.

Musicman, it sounds to me like you're definition of what is an objective process means you agree with the results.

Besides, any time you have one-person one-vote it is arguably always a "popularity contest."
 
What an amazing turn-around season for the A's. They looked so bad early on. Good for them for getting as far as they did.
 
Yeah baby! I'm sitting here at a sports bar in McCarren Airport in Las Vegas. My plane leaves at 9:00 so I am hoping I get the results before boarding!!!

I'm downing scotch (Dewar's on the rocks) and am pretty well lit, too!
 
Hey, question ..... Do you guys just periodically check for which threads have recent posts or is there some other method to find out when a new post occurs (like a chime or something?). I mean, besides that godawful list of subscribed threads that shows up each night in my e-mail inbox. ....
