The B- camera (GH2) - exposure question?

I know many correspondents here have a GH1/2 as a b-cam. (in conjunction with a proper video camera - an AF100 say)

Wondered how you guys "expose" when using it.... considering the lack of a wfm in the GH2?

Just bought a GH2 body and now going thru a learning curve process with it and my existing lenses. (as per sig)

Agree its useful for general exposure but...not sure how one uses a histogram to match levels (black , white, mids, skin tones) to a camera that has wfm.

Thinking about it now....I most likely will use the av out of the GH2 to a monitor with a wfm and flick between the camera sources.

I was kind of surprised that the GH2 did not have a wfm, focus assist or zebras. I do need to adapt.
