You know...their offline...and...mines...****-hot...still online....do I win by forcing everyone's server down?
I haven't been able to download "Backstab," but I think all of the other entries are great. My hat's off to all of you guys. In case you're interested in some feedback, these are my observations:
Waffles -- it never hurts to have a cute kid as your star. That dragon, though ... he was up to no good. I felt it was a bit slow to start, but I thought it was amusing nonetheless.
House Detective -- nicely shot, and funny to boot. The opening images are very clean, and easily could pass for film, but the audio quality could've been better (perhaps just the web compression).
Zombie Waffle -- I'll never eat a green waffle again. I like the sort of raw video look and the crazy colors in the waffle P.O.V. scene, but there could have been a little more development before the main character gets devoured by the zombie waffle.

sorry to chime in late, but the DVXFest is one of my favorite things about this site. unfortunately, i have been too busy to participate lately. But what's happening to our sacred contest? Information scattered everywhere, I have no idea what the prize was this month. I checked on the 1st and 2nd, and nothing was posted, and then came back only to find the contest over, and two of the links dead. only 36 people voted, and there were hardly any comments on the films. and the previous month had one single entry. sad sad sad.
The next contest sounds fun - everyone shooting from the same script...but where's the script? where's the announcement - where's any info? where's the beef for crying out loud? and does anyone remember how to shoot in 16:9? wtf?
Let's make movies peeps! Barry! TC! Where's my script??!!!!

I've been swamped this month so things are a little behind schedule, but I'm pulling things together and the script will be out soon along with the prizes announcement.
