Yes, I watched your movie . Very funny story. I loved your 'Knight of the unemployeds'. I felt so much with him in this boring office. He was a real hero. I love the idea of the story. Compliments!
Music was a little overpowering at times, just in volume.
It was shot fairly well and I enjoyed the ending. I did find the middle to be just a bit too long.
Okay, there are some really funny moments in here. I laughed my head off as he knocked the papers off the guy's desk with his sword.
I think that the film doesn't move along like it should and that you could cut a lot of the middle out and keep those funny moments coming one after another. At the beginning, I think you need an establishing shot of him entering the exterior of the building, it's too much of a leap from him running through the woods to where he's running down the corridor.
In my opinion, if you recut the film to keep a good quick comedic pace going, you'd really have a great little movie.
Great acting by the main character. I agree that sound levels were an issue.
Nice! I was diggin' the opening titles and the beginning of the film....then is slowed a bit too much for a comedy of this sort (silly, Python type stuff). Most of the camera work was good, but a couple of the scenes by windows proved troublesome. Also watch the boom noise, was there a shockmount on that boom?
I thought this was a fun little flick...and tell me, just how many films was Matt Ramsaur involved in this fest?
I enjoyed this film. Nice intro sequence. Audio had some weaknesses. But I liked the concept and story and it was executed well. The actor who played the knight did a nice job.
Your opening credits were done so nicely, but I really felt some compelling sound effects were needed to enhance them a little. Maybe just some slight swishes to give them just the right impact?
I agree that the levels were a little funky throughout the film, and that a number of times it sounded like something hit the mic. Certainly a fun film though!
hey man ... great movie .. I really loved it ... very funny ... my friend and I always wanted to do something funny / stupid like that (as a movie) ... and never had the guts to make it .. i really admire your effort ... and btw ... Great Opening Credits ... Looking forward for your next entries
Nice intro credits, some good shots, and nice lead actors. One thing that you could have done is dress the set up a little more. Put some stuff like calenders or post-it notes on the cubicle walls to really help sell the office environment. There were some funny parts like when Don was knocking the papers off of the desk. I enjoyed it. Good job.
i agree with champloo - reallly liked the credits - and when don knocked the papers off the desk. funny. the story is cute - maybe have don watch his girl get escorted into the room by the nefarious boss - show more of the boss as a character to be fought. sell that angle. maybe also shorten don's rallying cry - move it along and have him do more things - like rally more office workers - like the woman sitting next to don and cho - there are a lot more things than can be done with this story - go nuts with it - don is out of his mind - let him do some really crazy things- ride a fake horse - fill a quiver with paper arrows by the copy machine - make him frenetic and move him around like a medieval pinball - ah - just ideas - good main concept though! nice job.
