Hey guys. I have a question regarding the flip out lcd on the dvx. I shot a news segment for something I'm working on, I framed the subject the correct way on the lcd monitor, but when I got home and watched it, the very top of the head was cut off. Is it that the lcd doesn't give you what you are seeing or is there a setting I'm missing here? It was shot in 'normal' mode...

well the 100b's EVF and LCD show the full underscanned frame which would explain why you saw some of your talent being cropped out by the tv. And as far as I can remember, most cameras have a little play between what you see in the LCD and what you see on the tv. So your best bet is to always leave just a little bit more headroom then you need, or try to preview the image on a tv if thats an option.
