Has anyone here received this e-mail?
I think it's on the up and up but I don't know.... I seems like it could be Phishing.

It came from "sav.p2support.pavc @ ml.jp.panasonic com"

Thank you for purchasing and using AG-HMC150 series, memory card
camera recorder.

This is a questionnaire aims to reflect AVCCAM owner's opinion
to further development of products and service by asking your
current usage and opinion.

We would be grateful if you could spend a little bit of your

called "AVC INTRA Illustrated Video Technologies" as a small

I received this email about 1-2 weeks after the registration of my camera. I replied, and they send me the free dvd, but unfortunatly i didnt have time to watch it.
 
I got it about a month ago, and just got another email, same questions..

the dvd just shows you how AVCHD and Mpeg2 are different... slightly/really boring

Is it that video with the girl by the lake and the people in the night club and they focus on the chick in the blue top and shorts?
 
I received my DVD a few months ago - nothing of any use, though I liked the sheet of stickers :) now my HMC152 shoots AVCIntra & takes P2 cards woo hoo!!

I wish they invested that time & energy towards a firmware update that improved the use of the camera instead. Like selectable focus ring speeds, turning off the EVF & user LCD colour calibration for more consistent colour balancing.
