This is the greatest place in the world!
I am a very new user of this board and as of today a DVX100A. I posted a few questions before buying and you guys pointed me straight in the right direction. EVS is the BEST. Today my camera arrived and I experienced the dreaded "click" for the first time and paniced. I flipped to search on this board and of coarse you guys had all the answers. I am a former SONY VX-2000 owner and I have to say that camera was very nice but I have the feeling I am in for much more with this great piece of equiptment. I am so excited to experience what many of the talented people here already have but most importantly its great knowing that I besides the DVX100A I also have the other accessory that I or anyone else needs the users of DVXuser.com!

You made a very good choice!

I couldn't have made a better choice myself. I had never spent 3k on a camera before. In fact, I had never spent any money on a DV camera cause it used to put me off. Now this baby is the best. I didn't think twice.
Well, I kind of was rooting for the JVC, but thanks to this forum, I ended up buying the DVX, which is great!!!
