Tethering HVX200 to FCP for miniDV FireWire Capture Not Working

Something must be wrong in either my FCP or HVX200 settings. I need to tether my camera to my computer via firewire to capture a miniDV tape. My deck is in the shop. The tethering worked fine with the deck put plugging it into the camera and initiating Log and Capture causes FCP to spin the beachball until I manually unplug the camera at which point FCP resumes. What are the proper in-camera setting? Thanks in advance.
 
Problem solved. It was a little finicky but first I think 1394 setting in AV IN/OUT menu wasn't set to ON. I also made sure to launch FCP with the camera connected and already set to VCR mode.
