Started a lens acquiring binge after getting the Gh2 a month ago.
Started with the Canon Fd 50mm 1.4, Konica 50 1.7, (both great), the Panny 20mm 1.7 (fabulous) and yesterday the Panny 14mm 2.5.
I had apprehensions as the reviews on the web has been fairly mixed on this one, some claiming the resolution is not up to the 20mm 1.7 pancake.
After "walking the dog" today, I must say I'm very impressed. I don't know whether it's resolution is better or worse than the 20mm, but the video looks plenty sharp. It satisfies my need for a low light wide angle lens.
I must also comment on the youtube 1080p picture quality... it's pretty good! Very close to the original wmv I uploaded.
Definitely a thumbs up for the Panny 14mm 2.5
