Como's back. back again
I decided to test out some of my lighting skills, (lol), and to
try to achieve a nice, not so much film look, but a look for a
thriller/horror short video. Its really short. Done in AE.

I like it. Only thing you're missing is perhaps a backlight for the hand so you can see the rim of light under the thumb.
 
Ya, man, honestly. I have no clue what im doing. Im using a 500 watt work light, and a lamp lol. Im just playing around turning the lights. But thanks for the tip!
 
I have to get into lighting too. A good place to start is with your basic 3 point lighting, if you haven't already.

That's fun

The lighting on the keyboard doesn't do much; start by lighting portaits. If you can't light your talent, then what's the point ?

Also, pay attention to continiuty between cuts; arms and legs specifically.
