test shots

Hey all. I'm just a student learning with a cheap 1ccd camera so don't expect too much, but lately I've been doing some tests etc. I'm writing a short film which I hope to shoot sometime next month. I'll have a new camera by then but for now, what do you think of these two grabs? Taken with a real cheap 1ccd sony camera, colour corrected. My little brother in the shots.

They look squeezed for starters so I fixed them.

Not bad... the framing is a bit off on the first one... too much headroom... but I like the second one.
