Having a lot of fun testing lighting ratios.
What is causing the square pixelation seen around base of the wig?
Screen grab was taken from dvx shot using Vegas, I believe the image is uncompressed – unsure of Vegas capture settings. Is it an in camera setting i.e. v detail or focus?

when i brought it in to vegas i adjusted the saturation and the pixelation went away so that is something you could try.

Thanks for the tip, had fun with several of the Vegas colour tools. I am thinking the red was over saturated in camera. I captured straight to Vegas so I can’t review any shots from tape. I will try and recreate the set-up and pay attention to colour saturation.
