Test footage

Hi everyone,

Here's some test footage I shot with my DVX100B right after I got it. I put this up on Youtube as well, but the video compression broke my heart, so I'm providing a link to my original .Mp4 file, which looks about a thousand times better. I recommend you right-click or Control-click to download it. It was shot using setting F5 (24p, Cinegamma).

I hope you like it. It's not perfect, but it's not bad for what it is. Since shooting this I have obtained Barry's book, so I definitely hope to improve.

No special settings... just the standard "F5", and manual focus, white balance, and iris. I'm glad you liked it. I actually got the color balancing wrong in one of the shots (the third or fourth in the video), which gave me purple shadows. But I liked the (unintentional) effect, and so I left it in. But I guess everyone's entitled to a silly mistake or two when they're using the camera for the first time, eh?

Hope you're enjoying your DVX as much as I am!
