Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles

Okay, they cancelled it, I'm fine with that, but it was to give dollhouse a chance!?!

I'm sorry, I love Joss Whedon, and some of my friends (also joss whedon fans) are trying to give dollhouse a shot and they're saying it's amazing. But I've seen the first three episodes, then I watched a more recent episode to see if it's gotten better... but no, it hasn't. I think they screwed over Joss for firefly, but that was a well written show with amazing and fun characters. It's as if they're reviving dollhouse for the wrongs they did for firefly. Bad move IMO.

As for canceling TSCC, I loved the show, but it ended wired, and I'm not sure I'd like the direction it was going in. Never liked that redheaded terminator anyways.

I don't see Salvation having a huge impact on any potential third season of TSCC. Yeah, there could certainly be a ratings spike for the first episode--but I can only imagine that people who hadn't ever seen TSCC before would be yelling "What the poo poo is this?" at their TV's and then never tuning again.

Remember, TSCC isn't even in the same continuity as Salvation. TSCC ignores T3, while Salvation is at least tacitly acknowledging it by having Bryce Howard play Claire Danes' character. It'd be like CBS cashing on the success of the new "Star Trek" movie by launching a new Trek series set in the original timeline, with the pilot episode this fall showing a new starship visiting a certain planet that was blown up in the new movie...

Given the choice between the two, I see more potential in Dollhouse. It's certainly the only one of the two that I'd want to watch.

I haven't seen the conclusion to the second season yet, but I'm bummed to hear that it ends on a cliffhanger and now there will be no resolution.

I agree with Batutta, the Sci-Fi channel should pick it up. I doubt they will though. They have to focus on the upcoming Stargate Universe and their already Terminator-ish show Caprica. They might not want two shows with killer robots and AI themes.
