Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles

Honestly, the gun-in-the-leg thing was an unnecessary gimmic, IMO--no reason he couldn't have just had it in a holster, except they needed to have the kids see the "robot leg" so the FBI guy could mention it (and presumably set him up to start wondering whether Sarah's actually right about all this).

And, well, he was posing as a substitute teacher.

Another thing that bothers me about all of the terminators- They have all of this sophisticated targeting and tracking software, but why is it they can't seem to hit their target? I mean, you see them squeeze off 8 to 10 rounds at a person that is only 20 feet away, but they never hit the target. Everyone around the target is screwed, but the target is safe. Are they taught how to shoot by the al Quaida? We all know they can't shoot for $#!+, which is why they use suicide bombs...

At least they shoot better than stormtroopers.

And Battle Droids...I wonder how far back the Connor line has been protected. We know they can travel back to at least the 60's. Wouldn't it be easier to bump off Sarah Connor's parents. Or Kyle Reese's. Assuming they had that info, but they do have a time machine and they can travel back now, so it wouldn't be hard to gather that intel...Aw, screw it, it's just a show. Most time travel stories don't hold any water. I propose making a 10 second version of Terminator. It opens at 1 million B.C. A Terminator arrives. His foot steps on an insect. The End.

I doubt stepping on a insect a million years ago would do that much. It would take a long time for that 'ripple' to affect something. But if they mess with humans too much, they have a possibility of erasing their own existence. Do terminators dream of electric sheep?

Yeah, my problem with the Terminator time travel logic is that they try to have it both ways -- a linear view of time, where killing one person in the past effects the same future, and a branching view of time, where there are many possible futures. Which is it? If time can branch, than what you do as a time traveler would most likely not affect the future you came from.

Uhhh, how come Serenity Terminator girl could mimic perfect high-school teenage mannerisms in the first episode, but now she can't communicate in the most basic way with other students?

This show is getting really stupid really fast.

Logic has no place in this series. As much as I absolutely loved The Terminator, liked Terminator 2, tolerated Terminator 3; I just can't get into this.

They probably thought it was a good idea at the time but it is obviously not a well thought out idea.

I have it Tivoed and haven't watched it yet.....

.....does she get naked?

Yes, they all get naked. Nothing beats a threesome with your mom and a robot. What if Reece, is not only John's father, but brother and son at the same time?

It is hard to find people who enjoyed the first film more than the second.

The first had so much vision...granted it wasn't Ridley Scott's Blade Runner, but it was still classic 80s scifi. I always felt Judgement Day was made because Ah•nold wanted a more "positive" representation of his image. While the CG was innovative, it could match the original. Linda Hamilton, Michael Biehn and Bill Paxton

Now where did I put that head exploding .gif?

EDIT: I also forgot to mention in one of my previous posts that John would also become his own grandfather.

Oh.... any other dorks out there notice that the address of the computer store he went into (Eps2) was 1337. Haha. Haha.. get it. AND he is a "hacker"..... who, uh, doesnt know how to clear his history.

I would call it at best 'implied' nudity. Perhaps even with body doubles. But no, certainly no on-screen nudity. What did you expect? This ain't the movies.
