Tell Us About Your Aerial Cinematography Setup

It is not a large price tag when you think about it. A zenmuse for this size camera will set you back around 3k. It comes with dual gps for redundancy, hdmi video converter, video tx, and a case. it is artf and very easy to set up. perhaps the most stable unit available out there. ostrc sells it with free futaba 14sg until may31 $550 value. It is a good bargain considering what you get.

There are not many reviews on the High one as it is new and Zero UAV doesn't do the advertising DJI does. But if you look at forums for zero uav gemini and or ys-x6 you never hear of fly aways and such. The helicopter is the nicesest I've ownd and I've owned all kinds of multirotors and CP helis like gaui and SAB. It is top notch gear. The only downfall is the focumentation is not very good. they really need a more user friendly GUI and set of instructions. But really it is easier to get going than a DJI product, there is just not much documentation of videos out there, in English anyway.
Cool, thank you very much for the info :)

Thanks for posting, I had not even heard of Zero UAV, I have been on google but I cant seem to find a price list for the products, could you provide ball park figures for their machines.

HAPDigital, do you know if there would be any way to use a sony a7s on the gh3 gimbal, or would it have to be one specifically made for it?

I know they make an adapter and support the BMPCC with this same rig. I'm in contact with ostrc and xzero uav. I'll see if they can do it or have something for it. Might be a simple fix, not sure.

Just added a H3-3D to our Phantom.... What a fantastic gimbal.

Little to no stablisation needed for all the shots we have tried so far, even in 15mph+ wind.

yeah, I upgraded my phantom 1 with 2 axis to the P2 with H3 3D. It is really fun. This was shot in like 25+mph ocean winds.

Phantom 2 with H3-3D + GoPro 3 Black
FPV setup : ImmersionRC + Boscam 7" monitor + mini iOSD

In the next few months, looking to get the "high one" setup. Very interested in it after reading the little I did in this thread!

You say this is the best deal out there, I was wondering if you could give me more information about it.

Just got the Phantom 2, H3-3D and GoPro 3 Black.
No FPV yet, deciding between Liliput/Immersion RC and Boscam- suggestions?

Here's my first 2 tests. First one was my flying over/under/between obstacle test:

I've just bought my first standalone Pixhawk, with luck it'll arrive tomorrow, I'm going to make a small quad using the Vulcan Black Widow frame with straight arms that I've cut down in size to support 12-13" props. I'm still waiting for an FY-G3 3 axis gimbal to be stocked here in the UK.

I think this comment was posted here when it was a reply to a parallel conversation elsewhere... So removed...

I have a DJI Phantom 2 with the GoPro Hero 3+ Black and two axis gimbal.

I just purchased the Delvcam 7" FPV monitor with built in Dual 5.8Ghz Wireless receiver. With the Sony Battery plate.
I have a Sony FS700 the batteries should work perfectly with the monitor.
I also purchased the DJIAVl5.8 Link kit
The the DJI-FPV Hub Kit so i wouldn't have to solder any wires. I like the Idea of plug and play : )
I will let you know how everything works once I get it all set up.

Ok, I have it all set up and it works fairly well.

Here is a link to the monitor I purchased:

The only problem I have had with the setup so far is that Channel 1 on the Dji Transmitter isn't the same as Channel 1 on the Delvcam Monitor/receiver. I had to set the receiver on the Delvcam Monitor to channel 24 to get an image when I was on Channel 1 on the Dji Transmitter.
I know, Kinda Screwy, right?

If you use the receiver that comes with the AVL58 kit the Channels match up perfectly but then you need a second power source to power the receiver in addition to the monitor.
