Telephoto Lens

When using a telephoto lens, what is the proper way for importing it? Everytime I import it into my computer, it's as if the video is in a hole. This may be a dumb question, but I've never worked with a telephoto lens before, so I'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong or what.

A little confused by your question here. But let me make a wild guess and ask- are you using a telephoto lens that you got with your camera as a good deal on ebay?

If you are using a teleconverter, it is not operational through the entire zoom range of the DVX. If the camera is zoomed out you will see the barrel of the lens housing and then the image at the end in a circle. Depending on the Teleconverter and DVX model, I believe you have to zoom in to about 37. The idea of the teleconverter is to extend the zoom range at the tele end. If you needed to zoom out that much, of course you'd remove the teleconverter and just use the DVX lens. Because that range is already covered by the DVX zoom with the native lens.
