teleconverter ???

Hi,

can anyone plz adviz. The only weakness I beleive of the DVX100b is its 12x lens. I was shooting a commercial lately and has to do a close up of the eyes of the model. Unfortunately, I had to get to a few feet close. At that distance, I can see myself in the eyes of the model... I guess a more powerful lens would make me less apparent. Does anyone have any idea of a teleconversion adapter for the DVX100b plz

DVX100B has a 10x lens, not 12x.

You can get a 1.6x teleconverter from Century Optics. I believe they've announced a new 2x teleconverter as well.

Stay away from other brands, they just don't work with the DVX.

I'll agree with Barry, by saying stay away from cheap ebay stuff.
