Hi,
I'm stuck on whether to buy a 2x teleconverter with partial zoom-through capapbility, or a 1.6x teleconverter with full zoom-through. What will give me the most powerful zoom?

plus if that thing is sticking out far, my stock lens hood won't cover that, right?
