Teen Texting Driving PSA. Somewhat graphic.

Insufficiently graphic. I'm disappointed that any of the people in the 'texting' car survived. At least they could have made the injuries more horrific. Cut kind of long.

I suspect that you need something a lot sharper, if you hope to cut through the stupid and reach the kind of worthless self-centered asses who text while driving, anyway. That kind of stupidity is like armor.

Yeah could go further with the graphic nature.
Disagree that they all should die. Need a survivor for the kids to identify with emotionally. "Oh snap. What if I had to live with killing my friends." Kind of thing. IMHO.
 
Perhaps. My first impulse as an arriving driver would be to stabilize the people in the other cars, retrieve a tire iron from my trunk and finish off the survivors in the texting car.

But that's just me. People who dick around with anything extraneous while driving bring out the homicidal in me.

Perhaps a good way to get there with everyone in the car dead would be cut to a triple funeral, with grieving parents, friends, etc at graveside. It just isn't right for anyone in that car to survive...

Didn't we already see that video recently? The one with the guy passing another car, dog jumps into the road, guy swerves and kills a guy that's kissing a girl. Her legs are pinned to the wall he's now crushed into.
 
I think you over estimate the return on any advertising regardless of how good it is or not (if you were being literal). I think it's good enough to be effective, but effective by half is way too optimistic for any campaign for anything.
 
If somebody is stpid enough to text while driving, this aint gonna help em.
I always enjoy their videos though.
 
Alas it won't stop anyone. People text all the time driving. People use cell phones all the time driving. In New York using a cell phone in a car (without a wireless device) is illegal.

Guess how many people it stops? None.

I have a bluetooth device I use in the car, it's actually apart of my GPS, but apparently those don't help either. You are marginally more safe while using a bluetooth device, but people are still less attentive while talking on the phone.
 
Until we have random freeway shootings of idjit texters and talkers, no progress will be made.

Not that I'm advocating any such thing. I'd prefer draconian laws, but we aren't likely to get those.

Which I don't really get... If you're on the phone, your have you phone upto the side of your head, and you can look at the road. You don't really need two hands on the wheel at all times. Worst case scenerio if you need to, you drop the phone. The only dangerous part about actually talking on the phone, is dialing and answering, which you still have to do with most wireless headset devices.

Texting is a completely different story.
