I see a few writers attach their scripts as word doc and PDfs. So, How do I do that so I can share some work??

Use the "Member Upload Center" tool. There is a link up at the top-center of the forum. There is also a button like this:
upload.gif
in advanced/full post editor window. Use it to upload the files to the DVXuser server, then link to them in your post.

I get this ...

This file extension is prohibited
File type you choose: doc

... when trying to upload a word doc or an adobe PDF.

.doc files can contain viruses, so they are often blocked by many sites. You'll need to save it as a .pdf

Did that

Did that

I converted it and still got rejected. Says beneath what kind of files are allowed, and it doesn't include pdf or word.

If you have an outside server you can host the file on, and then link to, then I'd recomend trying that.

let me check on the .pdf thing.

I'm an idiot

I'm an idiot

I'm an idiot when it comes to tech stuff. Outside server??

I have a blog site I can upload to (I think), but for reasons unknown my computer doesn't display all the cute buttons needed to do it, and space is limited.

I need to go to a cyber everytime I need to do anything other that just write.

Arg.

Alex:

Go to mediamax.com (or type "free file hosting" into your search engine and pick a service) and get a free account. Upload your files and then move them into the hosted folder. The system will provide you with a link that you can post or email or embed in a webpage or blog or whatever. You can password protect the file too if you'd like.
