 nice job... only input would be more of your crazy scenes for your 'pain' and 'disappointment' parts... felt it dragged a little at that point. Otherwise clean and makes you want to see more.
Its good to still see 150 footy on here... btw lol
felt a bit dragged sometimes as Mad said...but i liked it overall. i wish that shot of the guy sitting down at the "dissappointment" part had a Close up also. cut from the medium to a close up...sweat dripping ect.
The song kinda felt like it didn't fit the subject matter, but I know you were trying to go for a dramatic feel- so that's what you get... Yeah, as for the "teaser" tag- it's supposed to be short and really tightly edited, ya know? You should def. go back and cut it down to less than two minutes mayn. Good work, though.
The titles are WAY too long. It almost hurts waiting for them to slowly move backwards and then fade out... just takes sooo long. The Skilled productions was 10 seconds long.. probably could have been 3 seconds at longest.
I don't like the shots you used for the slow motion opening shots. It took me a bit to figure out why and I think the reason is because it's shaky. Especially since it's slow motion.. you really have to do those kinds of shots on a tripod because it just looks like a slow shaking to it.
Not even sure what "HD SO REAL" means... maybe it's the lingo you use where you live or something? I'm assuming you just mean that it's in HD and it's really good but honestly it doesn't really make any sense.
The shot where you zoom in at 1:11 it doesn't really show a subject. I'm not sure if you're trying to show a person or the gun.. or both.. it's just kind of a poorly composed shot. He's like hanging below the bottom of the screen as well so it just looks like you're aiming too high with your shot that he's not really in frame.
The titles aren't really working. I feel like half of this is just me reading words and not actually watching footage. I feel like a lot of the text you can just replace with FOOTAGE instead of saying it. Like instead of saying, "feel the pain" you can just show the clips of them in pain and what not. Make it more visual.
Music didn't work at all. I know you were trying to make it dramatic but it didn't even really do that.
And when you're shooting.. be careful with the zooming. In your last shot, you zoomed a bunch of times to compose your shot and it just comes off as you're fiddling with the camera. Zoom, find your shot, then go with it. All that zooming and stuff is what you should be cutting out in post.
.....other than those things really.. the video was OK. I'm assuming you wanted people's opinions and constructive criticism because you posted it on a filmmaking forum so there's my 2 cents.
I liked the close-up moments you picked out. It's good that you were able to recognize and catch those things. See if you can make it shorter, less titles, and with faster cuts. Keep working at it because you can only improve.
