GH2 Teaser for Short Film Shot on GH2

Hey poweful little short here. Glad to come across one with some substance! Well done. I'm sure you'll create just as much substance with that new gh4.

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching. The GH4 is a powerful camera, looking forward to using it on a project soon.

Nice. Which flavor of the hack you using?

And anything about general camera settings? Smooth? Standard?

Some really good shots in there. Thanks for posting.

Loved the yellow color.

Best Actor: Your Father
Best Supporting Actor: That Yellow Pullover

Ryan, I'm glad you liked the film. I used Flowmotion v2.02 and shot in Smooth -2,0,0,0. Most was shot in 23.98 at 1/40 of a shutter, the attack scene was shot at 1/80. There was both 30/60p offspeed slomotion stuff in there as well. I used three Canon FD primes, 17mm f/4, 28mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.4.

Really liked it. Good story, good acting, great cinematography and the editing was top notch. I have a couple very minor critiques, but this is a work to be proud of.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I'm definitely open to hearing some critiques.

Great short and well executed. The beat up scene was perfectly shot and was able to convey the man's fear, which often looks fake on low budget films since it is hard to do without trained stuntman. My only suggestion is to get rid of the uplifting music at the end. His smile and body language are more than enough to translate his emotions to the audience. The music is bordering on sentimentality. I would have his breathing continue, leading into the end credits.
