Edit - Here is the full Film

Teaser trailer for a short film that I shot on a hacked GH2. I’m still waiting to hear back from a few festivals but I will post the full film here when I can.

Personally would have liked to have just a glimpse of the story in the teaser, but image looked great, and I was wondering what he was thinking about, so maybe mission accomplished by not showing any story.

Thanks for watching, I will definitely post the full film when I can. Yeah this is about as much as I could reveal in the teaser without giving too much away.

I thought the cinematography and grading really made the camera shine. Do yo uhave any before and afters you could post, especially with skin tone in the shot.

Great job, you made the camera shine.... NICE!

Those frame grabs look phenomenal. Definitely interested in seeing this in full, best of luck to you with the festivals!

Thanks for the kind words everybody, the GH2 is an awesome camera that is capable of capturing amazing imagery. The 17mm FD is nice, it's fairly sharp, but I really like that focal length so I use it quite often even though its a tad slow as it doesn't sharpen up until about f/5.6.

I don't do much grading, usually just small curve adjustments or a change in saturation. I generally try to get the look I want in camera, although I tend to very slightly overexpose and then bring it back down in post.

Here are a couple more grabs, and I'll try to get some before and after grade.

Hey guys, sorry it's been so long since I posted anything on this thread. I've been super busy with work and had to wait for some music license issues to be cleared up but here is the full film finally.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and any comments or questions are welcome.

Time to go back to playing with my new GH4.

Hey poweful little short here. Glad to come across one with some substance! Well done. I'm sure you'll create just as much substance with that new gh4.
