Teaser for new short "Stuffed"

Hey guys, just got finished filming our first major short film "Stuffed" early this morning. I put together a real short teaser. Won't explain anything, just thought I'd show something.

Stuffed Teaser

No major color correction. The images were just too bright so I darkened them up a bit to try and add to the eerie music. Also I need to fix the title in Photoshop but I don't have access to that right now, so that is why it looks kind of dark and crappy.

lol this made me think of that movie with dolls or stuffed animals from the 80's, I believe it was called dolly? Ah dunno. Yes lighting is flat, i wouldnt use ceiling lights, more practicals. Plus I think that wall color throws off that old creepy feeling. CC could fix that.
 
We used a lowel light kit. Actually had about 1250W total. I purposely flattened the image though because I thought it would add to the feel. I guess I shouldn't flatten it. I just thought it was too rich in color.

I agree with all the other comments.

I can't imagine stuffed animals like this being creepy, but the music/slow pan mix oddly worked out for ya.

Lighting, already been covered.

I will add that I thought the title was a bit hard to read with the animals in the background behind it.
 
Yeah give it some more depth and shape, deeper shadows brighter highlights. Definitely creepy though. Maybe even more-so if you had one psycho-looking stuffed animal admist all those.
 
lol. Everyone here seems to love the high contrast looks. The last thing I posted was also lacking the contrast. I'll post another higher contrast version.
 
No, it's a real short. I'm editing it now. I just put up the teaser for fun. The teaser is just close to how the real opener for the film is going to be (with some corrections of course).
 
didnt scurr me. i think you need to change the appearance of those stuffed animals. make em look freaken nasty- like maybe one of them his eye is hanging by a thread, and he's old and battered. that would freak me out
 
Well it would make more sense if you saw the rest of the film. The dolls aren't supposed to be scary. It's a mild suspense film about a guy who brings home dates to his house filled to the brim with stuffed animals.

John you mention little sisters room, like it would be appropriate for a little girl to have this many animals, but it's going to be creepy for a 27-year-old to have these in his pad.

Like I said though, this teaser doesn't say anything or show any point. It's just something to post. It's just part of my opener to show something.

Hey all Just want to let you all know that i replaced the original teaser with one that has more contrast.
